Yosef Negussie
Co-Manager, Strategy Lead
Yosef started at IBM building predictive models on mission-critical projects and leading teams that delivered over $300M in contract signings. He went to Stanford GSB, spent time at a $3B consumer growth-equity firm and a Series B fintech, then joined McKinsey's M&A practice running due diligence and operational playbooks. A year in, he took a sabbatical to play poker seriously.
His style is exploitative. The cards matter less than the person holding them. He's reading tendencies, table dynamics, and the small interpersonal signals most players walk past. That's where his decisions come from. He has cashed in every $10,000 buy-in he has entered: two WSOP Main Events and the WPT World Championship. Profitable every year since 2022, supporting himself on poker alone in New York.
